As CFO, Haley leads BlueWave’s finance, treasury, accounting, corporate operations and asset management functions and serves on the Senior Executive Team, bringing with him his rich background of financial leadership at both private and public companies in the manufacturing, biotechnology, and technology industries. Prior to joining BlueWave, Haley most recently served as the CFO & Treasurer at Desktop Metal, Inc. where he prepared the multinational company to go public and helped to position the company as a market leader.
Within the energy and battery storage space, Haley previously served as the Vice President of Finance & Treasurer at A123 Systems, a developer and manufacturer of battery systems for transportation, electric grid, and consumer markets. He worked closely with the CEO and CFO to raise $1.5B through company IPO as well as private, public, state, and federal funding. He also served as a key financial leader during the sale of A123 Systems’ Energy Solutions Division to NEC Corporation of Japan, which incorporated them into its Smart Energy Business Unit
James’ educational credentials include an MBA from D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a BA in Management (magna cum laude) with a concentration in Accounting from Curry College.

Trevor is the co-founder and CEO of BlueWave, a pioneering solar and battery storage developer, owner, and operator with a mission to protect the planet by transforming access to renewable energy. A certified B Corp, BlueWave has received both national and international recognition for its work to revolutionize the energy markets.
Trevor leads all aspects of BlueWave’s operations and expansion activity within the United States. He also sits on the board of two companies which were successfully spun out of BlueWave: Beam Financing Technology, a home solar loan provider, and Perch Energy, a community solar servicing provider.
Prior to joining BlueWave, Trevor was a Senior Director of Acquisitions and Development at Tishman Speyer, one of the largest and most respected real estate companies in the world. There he built extensive expertise in acquisitions, development, financing and asset management, successfully closed on $1.25 billion in acquisitions, and was also the Regional Finance Director of the Boston region. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Trevor worked as a development consultant at CB Richard Ellis Whittier Partners and was a consultant to the World Bank.
Born and raised in South Africa, Trevor was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to study at MIT, where he completed dual Master of Science degrees in Design Technology and Real Estate Development and was the recipient of a Skye Foundation Fellowship. He also holds a Bachelor of Building Arts and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Port Elizabeth (South Africa). Trevor was recognized as an Earth Advocate and top Environmental Leader by RealLeaders Awards in 2021.
